Description: In this short sequence, I filmed a young Hadza man who has just been lead to a bee nest by a honeyguide bird, and thereafter placed quite a bit of the resulting honeycomb onto a fire. I asked him why he placed the honeycomb onto the fire, and he explains that he does so to prevent the honeyguide bird from getting full, because a full bird would not call or lead Hadza to another source of honey.
