During the Shelly Winters Project my friend David Berndt and I came up with a fictional club, The Cha Cha Club that we populated with oddball characters and music. A bent version of Rick's Place from Casablanca. It made us laugh. A lot. The endless, built up in joke. I wrote the song a long time ago, Nickel & Dime tried to learn it, but we never got very far.
