The winner of the prestigious award has been announced at parliament house, where a gallery of the 17 highly commended artworks remain on display. If you are a serving or former member of the defence forces, or a relative in need of support, you can call the defence family helpline on 1800 624 608. Help is also available from lifeline on 13 11 14
