The electrically powered car will be shown as an exterior model at the spring motor show in the Chinese capital; the series version will then make its public debut in the fourth quarter of 2024. Like other PPE models for the Chinese market, the Audi Q6L e-tron will be locally produced in a new factory in Changchun. The first deliveries to customers will take place in 2025.<br/><br/>The Audi Q6L e-tron is defined by impressive driving and charging performance, excellent efficiency, and an even greater range than the global model. The wheelbase, longer by 105 millimeters, also allows the installation of a larger battery. With it, CLTC ranges of more than 700 kilometers will be possible. The letter “L” in the name signals the long wheelbase, which is also becoming the hallmark of outstanding long-distance capability.<br/><br/>Audi has been building “L” models with an extended wheelbase for the Chinese market for decades. The A6L and A4L are the best-known large-volume versions, alongside the Q5L, A8L, and A8L Horch. Now, Audi is adding the L model to the Q6 e-tron family - providing even more space, comfort, and everyday usability. Together with the new interior design philosophy, the Q6L e-tron is creating a very exclusive and generous space for passengers in the market.<br/><br/>The Audi Q6L e-tron epitomizes Audi’s distinctive SUV design with consistently further developed e-tron-specific design language. The Audi Q6L e-tron differs from the global version, and this becomes apparent from the start. Above all, the redesigned front end, with an evolution of the Audi brand face, sets its own accents for the China-specific version.

Sadly for the family, though, Randy passed away from a heart attack in 2018 after 34 years of marriage, leaving Brindley with a hole to fill when walking down the aisle on her wedding day. Mom Trellise, 61, devised a plan to make things extra special. Having reached out to the Clemson, a committee discussed the idea Trellise had put forward: that the Clemson Tiger would walk Brindley down the aisle in her father's place. Brindley said that the Tiger had never fulfilled this duty, but after the committee approved the request, the wheels were set in motion. Ahead of her wedding at Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brindley felt bummed because a photo charm of her father had not arrived in time to add to her bouquet. This provided the perfect cover for the surprise, as while Brindley was having her bridal portraits taken on March 23, her mom said: 'I know you were upset that the photo charm didn’t come in, so I got you a little something to help you honor Dad.' A surprised Brindley did not know what to expect and started following her mother. Then, around the corner, came the Clemson Tiger, causing Brindley to go weak at the knees and scream in shock. With a smile beamed across her face, the 32-year-old, who lives in Mesa, Arizona, headed over to the mascot for a big hug.")

Weighing in at 6600lbs and boasting a horsepower speed of 5,000, the vehicle was built by Perry Watkins from Buckinghamshire. After a night at the pub with friends, the idea of Oklahoma Willy was born. Perry told FutureStudiosCars: “We sit at the pub and come up with stupid ideas, I’ll then lock myself in the garage for five years and build it.” The owner of Perrywinkle Customs, Perry is no stranger to wild automotive creations. “It’s a bit like riding on top of a firework,” Perry explained. Taking around six years to build, Perry first bought a Rolls Royce Viper 535 jet engine, originally made in 1978. He stripped it down, polishing everything in aluminum, taking about two years to complete. Next, he added the after burner which took another six months work. Finally, he bought the VW pickup which had spent most of its life on a farm in Oklahoma, taking a further three years to finish. This rare and iconic vehicle is a prized possession of Perry, who doesn’t like to do something that has been done before.The top speed for the vehicle is 300mph, although the fastest Perry has gone is 157mph, an experience he describes as “exhilarating” but a “bit hairy”. The original engine sits in place making the vehicle street legal, providing you don’t fire up the jet. Perry describes the power as “one of the most incredible things you can ever experience.”")
