Lamb will be fined each day for not showing up. For missing Monday he will be fined$16,953. He will be fined $33,908 for Wednesday and $50,855 if minicamp extends to a third day. In total if he misses all three days he will be fined $101,716. <br/><br/>$101,716 might sound like a lot to most Americans but when you’re fighting for $35 million a year, it’s not much in the eyes of Lamb. <br/><br/>The day prior to Minicamp starting Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson got signed to a four-year $140 million contract with $110 guaranteed. This contract gives Jefferson $35 million a year, and with Lamb easily the same caliber of player one could argue Lamb deserves the same or more. <br/><br/>His presence was definitely missed at minicamp and a lot of his teammates spoke highly of him post workout. RG Zack Martin was in a similar situation last season, he missed the first portion of training camp due to contract issues. He told us after minicamp on Monday that it’s part of the business, he said what is going on is between Lamb and the front office. He said he is not worried about his teammate and knows that Lamb has been working out and getting ready for the season, just not at the facility. <br/><br/>“I can’t think of anyone more deserving. They want someone to look up to and protect them.<br/><br/>“I’m a boxer – I can protect my wife.<br/><br/>“It doesn’t have anything to do with my height.”<br/><br/>Cassandra added: “There are tall women married to short men.<br/><br/>“It’s not like OMG I just found a rare coin.”<br/><br/>Westin said: “Love is love no matter what.”")
