Description: On the 80th Anniverary of the D-Day landings which turned the tide of the Second World War, Sheffield, like many other locations across the country, held a quiet, touching ceremony attended by numerous veterans and members of the public.<br/><br/>In a moment of reflection backed by the Last Post, the flag atop the cenotaph in Sheffield city centre was held at half-mast.<br/><br/>Sheffield City Council CEO, Kate Josephs, spoke with The Star's Harry Harrison after the ceremony about remembering those who lost their lives in France.
