To pass this test, Lancia based its work on the multienergy Common Modular Platform (CMP), a segment-leading modular facility perfect for both full-electric motors and hybrid engines. The design and production team has worked to obtain a car that is agile, dynamic, can maintain remarkable grip and stability on the road, and is at the same time equipped with great comfort, guaranteeing a level of absolute premiumness.<br/>Work has focused on four main areas: onboard well-being, sound quality, production quality, and driving pleasure. In terms of onboard well-being, a specific soundproofing package has been developed to create a relaxing and soundproof environment, regardless of road surface conditions and the car’s speed. A specific set of gaskets has also been developed for the doors, to improve the sound quality when they are closed, as well as a new design for the handles to convey a tangible and extensive feeling of robustness. As for production quality, investment has been made in staff training, dedicated equipment and processes, to achieve a level of competition typical of a premium brand and to guarantee the end customer the best quality currently available on the market.<br/>In addition to these interventions, attention has been paid to driving pleasure: the team has widened the wheel track by 24 mm, to ensure better weight distribution and handling for the new model.
