The archival recording of this talk is made possible by the generosity of TypeCulture. nnSince its debut at the beginning of the 20th century, the Franklin Gothic family of typefaces has played a major role in shaping the landscape of typography everywhere. It has proven to be a versatile and timeless design for everything from hardcore punk bands to the U.S.
