Description: I put together some comparison tests on compression with different codecs. My main concern was size vs. quality vs. render timennI used After Effects to convert the original to quicktime .mov files. nI tested: H264, motionJPEG, Sorenson3, and XVIDnnnWhat I found is that:nn1. XVID is fastest to render, and I think has best size vs. quality ratio. I used CRB (Constant Bit Rate?), for some reason, on some clips, when using VRB (Variable Bit Rate?) the file was 10 times larger than CRB... hmm??? It
